whoa! the site looks a bit different!

I migrated from WordPress to Drupal today. Been thinkin' about it for quite a while now and even made a minimal effort to reproduce some of the look 'n feel of the old site, but when it came down to it, I just didn't have the time to finish it and I was really tired of WP.

I'm really happy with the new features Drupal has. There are aspects of the site that in the past I had to hack together to make work in WP. Drupal is simply cleaner.

Anywho...too busy to write the other things I'm impressed with, and there might be a thing or to that's b0rked for the first few days until I sort the rest out. lemme know if you find anything.

UPDATE

Now working: RSS feeds and random quotes. Though the quotes have moved from the top of the page (where I'd really like them to be again) to the left sidebar...maybe after the mayhem of the baby dies away (what? in 19 years or so?) I can rearrange things.....
